In Landscape III, the familiar urban scene dissolves into a rhythm of shifting planes, muted tones, and vibrating verticals. Bare trees stand at the center of the composition, their trunks fragmented into overlapping strokes that echo the geometry of surrounding buildings. Soft greys, pale mauves, and warm earthy notes create a delicate, almost musical atmosphere, where form emerges through subtle variations of color and texture.
Rather than depicting a specific place, the work captures the sensation of observing a city in winter light—when outlines blur, structures merge, and the eye moves freely between abstraction and reality. The result is a contemplative, quietly expressive landscape that reveals itself gradually, inviting viewers to linger within its layered spatial rhythm.

Ukrainian painter Sasha Demyter began his artistic training in the private studio of Mykolaiv artist Hennadii Pluzhnyk, later refining his practice in group studios and under the guidance of artist Inna Andrazhevska.
His works earned him membership in the Youth Association of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, where he actively participates in nationwide exhibitions. Today, he lives and works in Kyiv.
Notable Works Demyter’s practice spans portraits, still lifes, and landscapes. Among his recognized pieces are Verep, Kyiv I, Forest Landscape I, Portrait of Yana I, and the series Svoie. His still lifes — including Still Life with a Pomegranate, Still Life with Protea, Still Life with Light Drapery, and Still Life with White Glass — highlight his sensitivity to form and atmosphere. His drawing series also features portraits such as Yana I, Yana II, Svoie I, and Svoie II. His works are available for purchase through direct sale or auction via his digital storefront.
Artistic Style Demyter’s visual language combines influences from the French post-impressionist group Les Nabis and the British school of precise, contemplative figuration, particularly Euan Uglow and Diarmuid Kelley. The meticulous attention to corporeality and perception found in Ann Gale’s work also plays a significant role in shaping his approach.
